Literary Translation

Want to translate a novel, a short story or a non-fiction book in Italian? No problem! Whether you are a publishing house or a private individual, if the source text is in English or Spanish, I can help you.

My task, as a translator, is to study the source text in depth in order to better understand not only its content, but also the stylistic nuances that make it unique in the literary landscape.

The literary translation service therefore includes a first phase of study of the text and specific terminology, a second phase of drafting the translation and a third phase of meticulous revision. At the end, you will have a text in your hands that is ready to be published!

My task is to make sure that the Italian version of the text keeps the narrative and creative essence of the original intact, restoring every nuance of meaning, even of what is not explicitly said in the text.

Technical Translation

Technical translation requires precision and a sound knowledge of the relevant sector, be it fashion, tourism or engineering.

I specialise in conveying complex information clearly and accurately, maintaining terminological consistency and complying with industry standards.

Technical translation begins with the study of the source text as well as the technical terminology of reference, and continues with the analysis of the target audience of said text. This last phase is particularly important because it allows us to identify the real user of the final text, making - if necessary - an adaptation with respect to the source text.

Your initial document is too technical and you want it to be usable for a wider audience? No problem, it can be done! Does your text contain specialised language that you absolutely must replicate in the target language? Don't worry, I'll take care of it!

Through text revision and proofreading, therefore, I improve the quality of the text provided to me, working on syntax, punctuation, structure, and linguistic fluency, ensuring that the final result is error-free and optimised for reading.

Unlike automatic corrections made by AI software, which often just point out superficial spelling errors, I analyse the text in depth, assessing the context and the intended audience.
